Going on holiday

Hello everyone.
My past few days have been chilled. Chilling with family and friends. Had a bbq, been into town and PACKING!
I am going down to France tomorrow (Thursday 30th) for 9 days as a school trip which will be full of water sports and fun! It isn't a academic holiday which is the best bit! I will be getting up to sailing, catamarans, snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing and so much more!
I will be so busy morning, afternoon and evening I won't have time to blog, and I doubt I will even get wifi.
I am planning on doing a holiday blog when I return to talk about my holiday and show you all my pictures.
I hope you all have a fab week whatever your plans may be, and if your in England, I hope the weather is kind to you!

My favourites

I have always wanted to do this blog, so here it is. I will be chatting about all the different things that I like and would recommend, enjoy!

My first favourite is beauty related and it is the real technique's make-up brushes. I really enjoy applying my make-up and I feel like using brushes makes the look a whole lot better. I have a wide range of make-up brushes but my favourite is my 'Real Techniques 100 Bold Metal Brush.'

This brush dose come with quite a hefty price tag for a make-up brush but I feel like it is well worth the money I paid and if you don't mind spending a bit more money on make-up brushes I would defiantly go for a brush out of this collection. Ps, I use this brush for foundation.

My second favourite that I really do love and hope I always will is a shop. Not just a shop in particular but charity shops. When my Mum first wanted me to go into a charity shop I was having non of it but now I love going in and having a look round. A lot of charities shops sell a load of crap but you can pick up some great bargains. I love finding little dainty vintage pots and I have recently purchased a shirt from a charity shop for £3! Here are just a few out of my collection...

Next on my list is food. I want to recommend a few coffee shops. As you may be aware me and Elle often go out for coffee and cake and the two best places we both love is Costa and Marples. Both of these coffee shops are in Cleethorpes but I know for sure Costa is a nation wide cafe.

My favourite cake in Costa as I'm sure some of you are aware from previous blogs is the caramel shortbread slice and if you ever go into Costa I would recoment you pick one of these up!
I believe that there is only a Marples in Cleethorpes but it is your typical welcoming coffee shop with what I would call 'high standard' food. I often go for a toasted teacake and a coffee, a cake and I have even had my dinner there, home made lasagne, yum.

My last favourite is my phone apps. I will recoment a few apps to you that are my favourites. The first app is social media and it is Instagram. I like scrolling through Instagram to see all my friends photo and also edit and upload my own. (My name is 'sophpeggxo' if you wanted to have a look round.) The next app I use a lot is Layout which is a photo editing app. This app is linked to Instagram but I enjoy experimenting with my photos and making new photos. I have two games that I find myself playing a lot. They are Hay Day and Hill Climb and I recomend you download both. Some people may think Hay Day is more of a childs game but I love it and it's very addictive. My last favourite app of course is Blogger, and is my saviour. When ever I have a spare bit of time I will start to create a new blog or continue with an on going one. I also  enjoy the music app, capital and many more.

I hope you have enjoyed reading a few of my favourites and liked this type of blog.
Any feed back on this blog with be much appreciated, Soph:)

Coffee and cake

Evening All.
I have had a very eventful day with Elle and here is it in writing and pictures.
After my paper round, I got ready and was out the door by ten. Me and Elle had planned to go to Costa for breakfast, as we both love it! I had a toasted teacake, caramel shortbread cake and a cappuccino. I know it isn't really the typical breakfast but it was a treat and the caramel shortbread is to DIE for!!

We then headed to Town and I didn't buy anything exciting.

We then came home, chilled at Elle's for a short while then went out again (I feel like a middle aged lady, not a 16 year old kid) with our Mums for another coffee and cake (I had another caramel shortbread but it wasn't as good as Costa's) but never the less I still enjoyed it.

We came home, had tea, then washed Elle's car before driving to KFC for a burger (I only had a coke, *good girl Sophie*) and then came home.
Yes most of our day has evolved around food but you can't beat a treat once in a while, yumm!

Cleethorpes Carnival

A few days ago the Cleethorpes Carnival took place. I'll run you through my 'exciting day.'
Me and Elle was on the road early morning and headed to Town. After having an unsuccessful trip and not finding what we wanted we headed to Cleethorpes. Our first task was to find a place to park the car. The roads were being shut during the carnival and we didn't want to get stuck in the traffic after. We found a great place and it worked out a treat.
We then headed for lunch and what a better place then Marples. We both had home made Lasagne with chips. It was divine! On our way to Marples we had a selfie with a donkey, lol!
We then had a few hours to kill. We looked round shops, went for a coffee and chatted to friends. There was food stalls down the sea front and we picked are favourite (chocolate of course) and treat ourselves. I had marshmallows covered in milk chocolate and Elle had Strawberries covered in white chocolate. After that the Carnival was on it's way. With 70 floats with great dancers, singers and all sorts of acting and costumes it was a great laugh.
My favourite act!
We got home, had a quick change and was ready for a 50th party in the village pub.
SELFIEEEE
After a bit me and Owen went back to his and watched Game Of Thrones and then went back to the party to find a lot of drunken adults.
The day was filled with fun and laughter and I had a great time with friends and family.

My past few days

Thursday
Thursday was a day out with the lads from school. Me, Will and Will went round to Harrys and played some intense games on the wii. We then went on a bike ride to Joes house and played football before biking back. Will being the sweetheart he is gave me his bike to use as I was on Harrys bike that has six gears and I was struggling. At night me and Will went to watch Mum complete a Duathlon, she did very well!

Friday
Friday morning was chilled with Will and the only exciting thing I did Friday was go out for tea with Mum, Dad and friends. It was exciting though as I was feeling adventurous and tried Fish. I was a little disappointed as I thought it didn't taste of a lot but it was good never the less.

Saturday
Saturday was Cleethorpes carnival. I have done a separate blog for that and it will be uploaded tomorrow (20th July.)

TODAY
After two paper rounds with the help of Dad it was time to go help out at a race Mum was running. I don't have a clue where it was, all I know we was surrounded by grass. We was both marshals and made sure everyone went the right way and even took a few selfies along the way.

We all then went back to 'Race HQ' and enjoyed free food. I am now sat at home writing this blog and listening to Capital, woo.

Day 34, A first for everything

Evening all. First of all I would like to say I will not be titling my blogs 'Day 33, and then the caption' anymore, it will simply be the caption.
So lets get on with my past few days. Yesterday my main event was Me and Will going on a bike ride and strawberry picking. It's safe to say we ate just as many strawberries when we was picking then what we bought, oops! It was all going so well on the way home until the bag broke so we both ended up having a punnet of strawberries in one hand and biking with the other. I have never ate a strawberry and I went for it and tried one and I actually liked it.
Todays been a casual day, just me and Mum. We went to the doctors, Tesco, Pennells for a coffee and cake and then I did something I've never done before. I went on a short bike ride on Mums road bike, and gosh it was a little scary. I managed six miles with out falling off though, yay!
After my bike ride and a hard two mile run with Olivia  Me and Dad shared a pizza. We then painted a bit more of the fence and I'm now watching '100 Year Old Drivers Ride Again' which is a great program!
I am in the process of sorting out a favourites blog, so that should be coming shortly.

After watching telly for a while I will settle down to bed and I have a few pages of a magazine to read about blogging, which might give me some tips (lets hope so.)

Day 33, I may as well live in Town

Yesterday was a boring day and thats why I didn't blog. Me, Mum and Dad made a dent into clearing up the back garden. I painted the fence, Dad cut the hedge and Mum did some weeding. The highlight of my day was of course my Lush bath!! Bath bomb Fizz-banger, my favourite!!

Today was a little more productive. Me and Will caught the bus to Town and I blew the little money I had. I bought some 'Benefit Gimme Brow,' highly recommended, https://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/product/view/gimme-brow. I also bought a vibrant blue Cami from Topshop, http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?Ntt=plunge+v+neck+cami&storeId=12556&productId=19917518&urlRequestType=Base&categoryId=&langId=-1&productIdentifier=product&catalogId=33057. I also bought two pairs of sunglasses from Primark for my holiday and also a swimming costume. Will bought some flip flops and some sunglasses. I feel like I have been into town so many times these past few weeks, I may as well set up my tent and live in there!
We came home, went for a run, had tea and now watching a film with some more chocolate, marshmallows and digestives.
Me and Will have been together 5 months tomorrow, yes a whole 5 months, lol! Can I just say no matter how many times we argue were always by each others side after. Thanks for all the amazing good times Will, love you:)

Thanks for reading, Soph x

Day 32, chocolate & marshmallows

I was up bright and early for my paper round. On my round I captured some pictures that I thought looked 'artistic'.

After the round was completed I watched telly and had a hot cross bun. My plan was then to go on a bike ride. After waiting 20 minutes for Grandad to pump the tyres up that only went down again I decided a bike ride was not a good idea and I came home and watched Catfish.
After watching Catfish I set on my mission again, painting the fence. After having a struggle to get the sheet down with out it blowing away I was on with it. I have completed two LARGE panels today before Elle turned up to keep me company. (Ps, never drop your brush into the paint bucket, not great at all.)
We went back to Elles and made a treat. I don't know the name of it but it's chocolate, and marshmallows ontop, put into the oven to melt. Then ate with digestives. The pictures should make it all clear.

We then took our treats into the cinema room and watched Inbetweeners.

Tonight at home was a BBQ and now I'm sat with the family catching up on Coronation Street.

Day 31, a woman on a mission and A&E

Yesterday was a boring day. It consisted of a trip to Tesco and to B&Q. At the evening I started my mission... painting the fence. I will do a before and after picture but it may take some time as the fence goes on for miles (well not miles but it feels like that when I'm painting it!)
Before
After one coat
It still needs another coat at the bottom but after that it will look a lot better.

Today was an early start for me. By 10am I was in Marples, a lovely cafe down Cleethorpes, having breakfast with Elle. I had sausage bun and some coke. We then headed to Town. Elle picked up some lovely clothes and I bought some makeup, which was necessary and I then treat myself to Zoellas (a youtuber) sweet foam shower gel, which wasn't necessary, oops. I will give you my verdict when I have tried it out.
The highlight of my day was Elle falling up the stairs in Town (how is it even possible to fall up stairs.) We found it funny at the time as she was in a heap on the floor but she is now sat in Louth hospital waiting for an X-ray as her toes/foot isn't great! I hope your okay Elle!
We ended our trip out with a trip to Elle's Grandmas house for some home make chips and ice cream, hat more could we want.

I have set out my blog today a little different and I am kinda liking it better so whayy!

Day 30, feeding the duck

My day started at around 9am. I got woken up by Will with a coffee and then watched telle for a few hours. After watching homes under the hammer we got ready and went down the road for a cooked breakfast. Will had a large full english and I had a large sausage, it was massive!
We then went outside to find a hungry fluffy friend, a duck! I fed it some food and even had a selfe with it, and yes it is real!
We got home and spent the rest of our time battling it out on the wii, and it's fair to say I lost! I then went home and headed to the dentist for a filling. The dentist thought it would be a good idea to trick me and tell me I was having a tooth out, not funny at all. I survived the filling and came out in one piece.
I'm now sat at home, eating shepherds pie and looking for a holiday and clothes, happy days!

Day 29, swimming in the sea

Today I've spent the day with Will. We had an early start and was in town by 10. After getting Will all his holiday clothes we headed to KFC. A bargen bucket and chips did me nicely, then we headed home.
We decided as it was a nice day to go down to the beach. I was having second thoughts but it was too late by then as Will was dragging me in the freezing water. Despite there being a seal that I thought was going to come and eat us I had great fun, once the water got warmer.
Once we was home and showered we enjoyed sausags, potatoes and vegetables.
Me and Will then spent a few hours battling it out on the wii, I won, obviously.

I have wrote this blog out three times now, yes THREE so third time lucky it will upload and not disappear.
Thank for reading.

Day 28, the past few days

My past few days have consisted of bike rides, strawberry picking, watching a show and many trips into town. My first bike ride was to Cleethorpes with Will. We went down to the beach and sunbathered for a few hours and took a packed lunch with us. We then biked home and then biked with Mum to somewhere far away for an ice cream.
The next day was a day out with Elle. We went to town, went out for lunch and went strawberry picking.
The day after I went back into town and bought lodes of holiday clothes for my holiday to France at the end of the month. If I have the time I was planning on doing a blog about the summer clothes I purchased and sharing it with you all. I will try get round to that but I'm not promising anything.
On Saturday I went with a few friends back to Stagecoach (a perferming arts school) and watched a show, to support our friends that were in the show. We then went into town, again, and that was my day really.
I am sorry I havn't been uploading every day but I hope I get back to that soon!!
It is now Tuesday. I've spent the day with Will and we went swimming.

My daily skin care routine

I thought I would do something a little bit different today, so today I will write to you about my daily skin care routine.

First of all I have quite normal skin, not oily, and not to dry. I will always trust 'Simple' for my skin, it's not pricy and for me it works really well.

In the mornings when I wake up the first thing I will do is wash my face with the "Simple triple action face wash.' I simply use this with warm water and a flannel.
I then dry my face and use my 'Simple kind to skin hydrating moisturiser.' This moisturiser is light, and not a lot is needed and it drys quickly so you aren't waiting to put makeup on top of it.

Then when it comes to night time it's a bit more complicated.

I first start of with 'Simple kind to eyes, eye make-up remover.'  I put a bit of this on a cotton pad and rub gently around my eyes and eye brows.
I then use the 'Simply kind to skin purifying cleansing lotion.' I put quite a bit of this on another cotton pad and rub all over my face and down my neck.
By now all your make-up should of come off but just to make sure I then use the 'Simply soothing facial toner.' This toner is almost like water. Just apply to a cotton pad and apply all over the face.
To finish off I then apply 'Simply vital vitamin night cream.' The night cream is a thicker cream then the morning moisturiser and feels like it soaks into your face over night. Just as the morning moisturiser apply all over the face, and not a lot is needed.
I then just repeat this patten every morning and evening.

These products are only a couple of pounds each and last a long time. They are available to buy at any boots, superdrug and other cosmetic stores. They sell different methods of each product so there is something for every skin type.

I hope this has helped you to get an idea of a skin care routine and a few products. Let me know your response.

Day 25/26, Happy birthday Granny

My past two days have consisted of me at Franklin College on my taster days. I picked the following four subject. Health and Social care, Biology, Photography and Sociology. The second day was definitely more enjoyable then the first as the first day I only had one lesson and that was Biology and I didn't really enjoy that. I really enjoyed the other three courses, especially photography and sociology. I'm still not 100% sure what I want to do when I leave school. I have a catering apprenticeship lined up but I also have Franklin as my back up plan, so I will see where the wind takes me.
Monday night I was out with Dad and Will on a 10 mile bike ride. Dad decided to take us through a field which was surrounded by nettles and I had shorts on, so that wasn't great!
Tuesday was Granny's birthday so after college I whipped up a Victoria sponge for her and me and the family went out for a meal.

Last night just as me and Will was going to bed (half 12) Will got me out of bed to have a look out the window. When I looked it seemed like a house on fire. You could see the flames roaring and you could hear it. As we was worried I woke Mum up and we ended up going on a walk to find out. There was other people out on the streets worried as well but thank god it wasn't a house, just a barn/field. Hopefully no one was hurt and the fire brigade turned up.
Today is a lovely day and I have an idea of biking down to the beach with Will, taking a picnic and having a sunbath, I'll let you know what we end up doing.
